Device and Usage Data

When you visit a UAB Mbito website and/or mobile application, we automatically collect and store information about your visit using browser cookies (files which are sent by us to your computer), or similar technology. Purpose and Legal Basis for the Processing of Personal Data

Where we process your Personal Data to provide a product or service, we do so because it is necessary to perform contractual obligations. All of the above processing is necessary in our legitimate interests to provide products and services and to maintain our relationship with you and to protect our business for example against fraud. UAB Mbito complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss–U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of Personal Data transferred from the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland to the United States, respectively. UAB Mbito has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Frameworks, UAB Mbito is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. In certain situations, we may be required to disclose Personal Information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

UAB Mbito’s accountability for personal data that it receives in the United States under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the Privacy Shield Principles. In particular, UAB Mbito remains responsible and liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if third-party agents that it engages to process the personal data on its behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless UAB Mbito proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage. In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, UAB Mbito commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information transferred to the United States pursuant to Privacy Shield. European Union and Swiss individuals with Privacy Shield inquiries or complaints should first contact by email at ask@mbito.app.

UAB Mbito has further committed to refer unresolved Privacy Shield complaints to the EU Data Protection Authorities. UAB Mbito will cooperate with the appropriate EU Data Protection Authorities during investigation and resolution of complaints brought under Privacy Shield.
